Privacy & Cookies Policy

Last updated 15 June 2026

The short version: this site collects nothing about you. No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and no cookies.

Everything That Glows is a static website — a landing page and a book you read in your browser. There is no login, no comment system, no newsletter, and no form that asks for your details. The sections below explain exactly what does and does not happen when you visit.

What we collect

Nothing personal. We do not ask for, receive, or store your name, email address, or any other identifying information, and we do not build any profile of you or your reading.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies — none for advertising, none for analytics, and none for anything else. Because there are no cookies and no tracking, there is no cookie banner to click through.

Local storage on your device

To make reading comfortable, the book saves a few small preferences using your browser’s local storage. This information stays on your device, is never sent to us or anyone else, and you can clear it at any time. It covers:

Local storage is not a cookie and is not transmitted with your requests. To remove it, clear your browser’s site data for this site, or use a private/incognito window.

Analytics & advertising

There are none. We run no analytics scripts, embed no third-party trackers, and show no ads. The pages load no external scripts, fonts, images, or frames; everything needed to read the book is contained in the page itself.

Hosting & server logs

The site is served by our hosting provider, Netlify. Like virtually all web hosts, Netlify may automatically process limited technical information (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) in order to deliver the site, keep it secure, and guard against abuse. This is standard server operation rather than tracking by us, and is governed by the provider’s own privacy practices. We do not combine this information with anything else or use it to identify you.

Children

The book is suitable for general audiences and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete. The only data connected to your use of the site lives in your own browser and is fully under your control. If you have questions about privacy laws that may apply to you (for example the GDPR or CCPA), you are welcome to get in touch.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will change with it. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
